Yoga training

As with any other method of exercise, yoga training requires time and patience. Muscles do not become strong and flexible overnight, and in order to see benefits one must be willing to put forth the effort. Fortunately, yoga is not only good for you; it is fairly addictive as well.

For novices, it is important not to push too hard when beginning one’s yoga training. Flexibility is developed over time, and if rushed can result in injury. Many experts recommend using props to assist with the various poses until a proper amount of strength and flexibility is gained.

Years of yoga training are required if one wishes to become a qualified yoga instructor. There are many training centers across the country that offer courses designed to develop the skills needed to properly teach yoga. Most of these programs require a minimum of 200 hours of class time, and in some cases even more.
